This is my personal journal, my little abode amidst the enigmatic tangles of the interwebs where, presented with the opportunity, I may easily amuse, delight, inspire, or bore you senselessly (among other things LOL) and I have no doubt that I should come with a humorous warning label of some sort! *G*
I'm happily married to my soul mate (Ken). We met on 8/9/99, married on 8/9/00, and our worlds revolve around our son (Nathan) who was born November 2003. We live in northern Kentucky (just south of Cincinnati, OH) where I stay home with our little boy while Ken works as a Tier 3 tech support agent at Time Warner Cable.
I love movies (that was probably a huge understatement!), love all kinds of music (currently I'm most addicted to listening to gothic rock and metal), and adore games (video, card, board, tabletop RPGs like D&D, etc.). I love reading (mostly fantasy novels like Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, Ravenloft, and Harry Potter).
I'm very easy to get along with, open minded, outspoken, compassionate, trustworthy, sincere, stubborn, and I love my family and friends more than words can express. I avoid conflict and negativity whenever possible and I abhor drama. I try to see the bright side of everything (although it can be a challenge at times) and I've been known to see the good in others even when they cannot see it in themselves. I adore sarcasm, empathy, and a good sense of humor. I'm honest to a fault and despise liars.
My memory is not spectacular (never has been) and I have the post-it notes around my desk to prove it. I have some annoying habits such as excessively explaining things, over analyzing things (it's not unheard of for me to complicate things just by attempting to simplify them), being non-observant, asking for opinions more often than I should, rambling, pacing nonstop while talking on the phone, and can be a plethora of ditzyness at times, but no one is perfect. ;) |

Needless to say, I mostly write about my personal life. My "Friending Policy" and an explanation for it are here. I do not distribute icons, wallpaper, mood themes, layouts, banners, or other graphics in my personal journal, I post them @  ainabarad_icons (my icon journal) instead.
